[Blood Dragon, Far Cry 3, lasers, Michael Biehn]
Far Cry 3 was a game that, to many, was one of the best games of 2012. It was an open world game with good characters, a ton of content as well as a lot of replayability. So imagine what would happen when you take the core gameplay elements, put them in the 80’s future… Read More »
Review: Poker Night 2
Written by Addam Kearney on April 30, 2013 in Xbox 360
[Army of Darkness, borderlands 2, Poker Night 2, Sam and Max, Telltale Games, The Venture Bros.]
When Telltale launched their award winning series The Walking Dead, many wondered exactly where they could go from there. We knew they were working on a video game adaptation to the comic series Fables, but we didn’t know if they were working on anything else. Little could we expect they were working on, of all… Read More »
Review: Injustice: Gods Among Us
Written by Shane Bailey on April 30, 2013 in Xbox 360
[DC Comics, Injustice: Gods Amond Us, Superman]
A fluid fighting engine with a decent combo and counter system, moves are easy to pull off but with the addition of the power meter give them a bit more for the veteran fighter to play with. The game walks a fine line of being inviting to casual fighters, but gives just enough challenge for most veteran fighters. This game is perfect for gamers that are fond of current DC comics characters, Mortal Kombat fighting games, or are just looking for a fun casual fighter to while away their time.
Review: Gears of War: Judgment
Written by Patrick Cassin on April 29, 2013 in Xbox 360
[Epic, Gears of War Judgment, People Can Fly]
Gears of War: Judgment really should have a “4” somewhere in its title. Not only does it have all the features and content of a traditional entry in the series, but it adds a slew of refined ideas that make this new experience better by nearly every objective criteria. Granted there are still a few… Read More »

Alien Spidy is an addition to a long line of platformer games that look to challenge you. It really does too good of a job. From the developers at Kalypso Media comes the story of Spidy who has lost contact with his explorer friend, Virgi. Spidy’s last contact shows that Virgi was on or around… Read More »
Review: Shootmania: Storm
Written by Zach Snell on April 23, 2013 in PC
[Married Gamers, PC, Shootmania, TMG, Trackmania, Ubisoft]
Shootmania is colorful and varied enough in its maps, and the game’s bright skybox and neon-shaded characters make the game really stand out in a sea of gray military shooters.
Review: Injustice: Gods Among Us
Written by Shane Bailey on April 23, 2013 in iOS
[DC Comics, Injustice: Gods Among Us, iOS, NetherRealm, NetherRealm Studios, WB Games]
Perfect for those moments when you are waiting in line or during a commercial on TV. It does exactly what a mobile game should do. Provide you with quick entertainment for those breaks throughout the day, provide you with something to keep coming back for with the collectible card game and the leveling up of the characters, and serve to help market the other versions of the game by allowing you to link your WB ID and unlock console items by playing. The best part is, it’s free.

Review: Dead Island: Riptide
Written by Addam Kearney on April 22, 2013 in Xbox 360
[Dead Island, Deep Silver, Riptide, Techland]
The original Dead Island took many by surprise. Described as “Borderlands but with zombies,” the game featured a heavy emphasis on melee combat that was surprisingly deep and satisfying. As a result, the game was a huge success for Deep Silver and Techland. A year and a half later, Dead Island: Riptide has been released… Read More »
