Far Cry 3 was a game that, to many, was one of the best games of 2012. It was an open world game with good characters, a ton of content as well as a lot of replayability. So imagine what would happen when you take the core gameplay elements, put them in the 80’s future… Read More »

When Telltale launched their award winning series The Walking Dead, many wondered exactly where they could go from there. We knew they were working on a video game adaptation to the comic series Fables, but we didn’t know if they were working on anything else. Little could we expect they were working on, of all… Read More »

Review: Injustice: Gods Among Us

A fluid fighting engine with a decent combo and counter system, moves are easy to pull off but with the addition of the power meter give them a bit more for the veteran fighter to play with. The game walks a fine line of being inviting to casual fighters, but gives just enough challenge for most veteran fighters. This game is perfect for gamers that are fond of current DC comics characters, Mortal Kombat fighting games, or are just looking for a fun casual fighter to while away their time.

Gears of War: Judgment really should have a “4” somewhere in its title. Not only does it have all the features and content of a traditional entry in the series, but it adds a slew of refined ideas that make this new experience better by nearly every objective criteria. Granted there are still a few… Read More »

Review: Dead Island: Riptide

The original Dead Island took many by surprise. Described as “Borderlands but with zombies,” the game featured a heavy emphasis on melee combat that was surprisingly deep and satisfying. As a result, the game was a huge success for Deep Silver and Techland. A year and a half later, Dead Island: Riptide has been released… Read More »

Review: Sacred Citadel

Sacred has been fairly synonymous with being a loot driven game, similar in style to Diablo. Rather than being groundbreaking, series entries iterate on concepts from other games. Sacred Citadel, the newest game set in the Sacred universe, feels similar to the Sacred games in that it’s not very unique but it can still be… Read More »

It has been some time since we last saw a Bioshock game, an Irrational Games series centered around cerebral twists and turns, going places few games dare to tread. Leaving the depths of the ocean and entering into the clouds we are introduced to a new dystopic city, just waiting for someone like you to come along… Read More »

Review: Battleblock Theater

The first time that I ever heard about Battleblock Theater was in 2009 at PAX in Seattle. After investing hours and hours into The Behemoth’s previous game, Castle Crashers, I was excited to see what they could do with a new game. Then, the wait began. For almost four years I waited with bated breath… Read More »
