Up until today, fans of the surprise art piece called BioShock has been caught in an uneasy place between anticipation and impatience. Well, the release date for BioShock Infinite is no longer up in the air. Irrational Games has announced that the long awaited game will hit store shelves on October 16, 2012 in North America and October 19, 2012 internationally.
Ken Levine adds that “After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition. BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
Well, Ken, we can’t wait to get our hands on it either. BioShock Infinite will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
