This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Nintendo’s mascot and game star, Mario. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Nintendo is releasing Super Mario All-Stars: Collectors Edition. It is a Wii remake of the original Super Mario All-Stars and includes the four legendary NES Mario games; Super Mario Bros. 1,2 and 3 and also The Lost Levels.
The set will also include a CD soundtrack which will include music and sounds from the past 25 years of Mario, marking the first official release of the original “Super Mario Bros. Ground Theme.” The final piece of the set will be a 32-page booklet, Super Mario History, detailing the birth of Mario and will include candid photos of the team and never-seen-before concept art.
Super Mario All-Stars: Collectors Edition is set to release in the US on December 12th at the suggested retail price of $29.99, making it the perfect gift for any avid Super Mario fan.
